Role Responsibilities:
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and deploying predictive models and AI solutions
- Driving data science strategy within FP&A and identifying gaps in current ML processes
- Mentoring and training team members on best practices
- Leading large cross-functional projects from ideation to implementation
- Collaborating with engineers and data scientists to integrate models into production
- Evaluating and optimizing data-driven products and solutions
- Coordinating with external service providers for ML/AI solutions
- Leading initiatives within the Data Science Community of Practice
- Ensuring alignment of data projects with business objectives
- Collecting, cleansing, and validating complex data sources for modeling
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in a data science related field and Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- 5–7+ years in data science, including deploying machine learning models to production
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, SPSS, IBM CPLEX
- Experience with cloud platforms and big data tools (Databricks, Azure, Spark, SAP R4/4HANA, IBM Planning Analytics)
- Skilled in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with Gen AI technologies
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills as well as strategic thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
