Role Overview

As a Business Analyst at ONFTECH, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. You will work closely with banks, financial institutions, and internal product/engineering teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure that ONFTECH’s RegTech and FinTech solutions meet client and regulatory expectations. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial services knowledge, and excellent communication to translate complex business needs into actionable technical specifications. Working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration platforms, you will support requirement tracking, sprint planning, documentation, and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, internal product managers, and development teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Use Jira to manage requirements, create and refine user stories, track progress, and support Agile ceremonies.
• Maintain Confluence spaces with up-to-date BRDs, FSDs, workflows, and release documentation.
• Conduct gap analysis to align solutions with banking regulations, business goals, and client expectations.
• Support SIT and UAT phases, documenting test cases, acceptance criteria, and ensuring traceability.
• Liaise with technical leads to ensure accurate translation of requirements into system design and development tasks.
• Document business processes using diagrams, flowcharts, and Confluence templates to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Assist in pre-sales engagements, preparing solution overviews, demos, and client presentations.
• Continuously stay updated with FinTech and RegTech trends and reflect these in requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 2–5 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in banking, RegTech, or FinTech projects.
• Hands-on experience with Jira (user stories, epics, sprint planning, backlog management).
• Proficiency in Confluence for documentation, versioning, and collaboration.
• Familiarity with other tools such as MS Office, Visio, and collaboration platforms (Teams, Slack).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in iterative delivery cycles.
• Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to translate complex requirements into structured documentation.
• Excellent communication in English (Arabic/Turkish is an advantage).
• Knowledge of banking regulations and financial services workflows in GCC countries is a plus.
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Arabic (Preferred)
