Cisco Network Engineer

Assignment Description

We are seeking a network resource with Cisco expertise to support field operations, including the installation, configuration, and commissioning of network equipment – primarily Cisco switches. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied tasks, customer interaction, and hands-on technical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure Cisco switches at customer sites in the Oslo area
• Perform network changes following established change management processes
• Document all work performed and network configurations

Required Skills & Experience

• Practical experience with Cisco network equipment at a CCNA-level (certification is not required)
• Ability to work structured and independently at customer sites
• Valid driver’s license and own car, as assignments are spread across the Oslo area
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian, both verbal and written

Additional Information

• Work location: Fornebu
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: 30 June 2026, with potential extension
