About The Role
Our client is a well-funded FinTech company with $42 million in total funding, building a modern banking and cash management platform for businesses that sell physical goods. Their mission is to turn banking from a cost center into a profit center by automating financial tasks for consumer brands with sales between $\$5$ million and $\$200$ million. They already serve hundreds of customers that collectively produce over $1 billion in GMV.
They are looking for a Founding iOS Engineer to launch and own the entire mobile experience. This is a critical, high-impact role focused on transforming complex financial data into a simple, beautiful, high-performance iOS application that customers will use daily.

What You'll Do
- Own End-to-End Mobile Development: Own the architecture, implementation, and launch of the entire iOS application from the ground up
- Build Polished UX: Create intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that simplify complex financial data, collaborating closely with the design team to ensure a polished, on-brand user experience
- Define Best Practices: Establish the technical standards and best practices for mobile engineering, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, analytics, and crash reporting
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with backend engineers to define API needs and work across the stack when necessary to unblock features
- Drive Ownership: Thrive in an ambiguous setting, enjoy making product tradeoffs, and be excited by the opportunity to build a product and shape the company culture
- 4+ years of experience building and maintaining iOS applications in production
- Experience designing architecture and making product tradeoffs in ambiguous settings
- A strong eye for design and a passion for delivering polished user experiences
- Salary: $200K - $240K
- Equity: 0.05% - 0.10%
- Visa Sponsorship: Supported (H1B transfers and TN visas)
