Our client, a leading heavy civil contractor in the Lower Mainland, BC, specializes in excavation, shoring, underground utilities, and infrastructure projects. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from planning to completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
- Lead project teams and subcontractors, promoting collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, and change management.
- Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and field staff to resolve design or schedule issues.
- Conduct regular site visits and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- 4+ years of project management experience in excavation, shoring, or heavy civil work.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proficient in MS Project, HCSS, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Based in the Lower Mainland, BC.
