Maltem Asia is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a Banking Client based in Singapore.

Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing legacy applications and infrastructure.
• Develop a detailed migration plan with timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Document migration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide training and support to IT teams and end-users for smooth transition.

Must have:

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Proficiency in Helm for Kubernetes application management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and AWS networking.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to have:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and experience with Kafka.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, EFCore and related technologies
