Responsibilities

Kforce is immediately adding a full-time .NET Developoer in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Spring, TX. Responsibilities:

  • Uses applicable programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications
  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
  • Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new applications used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs
  • Oversees the software application development projects across multiple teams
  • Manages resources to complete programming projects, and designs detailed plans to ensure applications are functioning properly
  • Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software applications design and development across multiple platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit
  • Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture
  • Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; Provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk
  • Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of software applications design and development innovation and excellence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in Software Technology, in a Software Engineering role on a team using Agile methodologies, preferably utilizing scrum or other iterative frameworks for execution
  • Extensive experience in C# and .NET (including .NET Core/.NET 6+)
  • Experience with Frontend Development with React
  • Strong practical understanding of Agile Scrum; Sprint planning, story point estimation, retrospectives, Backlog refinement and working closely with all roles in a Scrum Team
  • Strong experience in System design patterns (Factory, Repository, Mediator, etc.), scalability, reliability, performance, and software products/solutions development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Mastery in English and local language
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels
  • Proficiency experience in C#, .Net technologies, design patterns, and strong programming skills to build production solutions
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team
  • Experience in Event-driven and asynchronous programming
  • Experience in Dependency injection, Inversion of Control (IoC)
  • Ability to build software solutions from the ground up
  • Good knowledge of the Cryptographic Certificates, Security standards
  • Self-starter with a desire to work across a variety of requirements

Nice To Have

  • Hands-on cloud development experience in Azure (Functions, Frontdoor, Storage) or AWS equivalent
  • Technical mentoring and code review leadership
  • Self-management and ownership of feature delivery
  • Experience in MAUI mobile Development

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
