Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer in Fort Washington, PA. Responsibilities:
- Network Engineer will design and implement secure, scalable network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments
- Configure and support Cisco Nexus (NDFC), Palo Alto firewalls, NetScaler load balancers, and Azure networking components
- Monitor network performance and health using LogicMonitor and ServiceNow, ensuring timely issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise connectivity and security requirements
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments, ensuring high availability and optimal throughput
- Apply corporate standards and security policies to network architecture and operations
- As a Network Engineer, you will participate in network capacity planning, forecasting, and performance tuning
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions for compliance and future reference
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for escalated network issues
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network reliability and security
- Support structured cabling and physical network layer tasks when required
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field
- Preferred certification in networking technologies, CCNA
- 5 years of experience with the following: Cisco Nexus NDFC; Firewall/Security operations (Palo Alto, NetScaler); Network traffic analysis tools ; Enterprise LAN/WAN design and development
