Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Series A HealthTech Scale-Up
London or Cambridge (Hybrid)
Base Salary: up to £150k + Meaningful Equity
Neulinx are proud to be working with a fast-growing Series A HealthTech company on a mission to build a market-leading digital platform transforming how healthcare is delivered internationally.
With a strong foundation in place and a tech team of 10–12, the business is now seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the next stage of their journey.
The Role
As CTO, you’ll take ownership of the company’s technology strategy and delivery, building upon the existing platform and driving scale. Reporting directly into the CEO, you’ll combine strategic vision with a hands-on understanding of modern technologies to shape architecture, grow the engineering function, and ensure delivery of a product that leads globally.
Your role will span:
- Technical Leadership (c.30%) – guiding architecture decisions, reviewing technical solutions, and ensuring best practices across NodeJS, React, GCP, AWS, Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin.
- Team & Delivery Leadership – leading, scaling, and mentoring a growing engineering team, building an empowering, high-performance culture.
- Product & Commercial Focus – collaborating with product and commercial leaders to define roadmaps, balance priorities, and ensure technology enables business growth.
- Strategic Vision – aligning long-term technology direction with international growth in the US and Series A objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in leading engineering teams within high-growth startups or scale-ups.
- Strong technical background with ability to engage in architecture and design (not expected to code in production daily, but able to get into the detail where required).
- Experience across modern web and mobile stacks – ideally NodeJS, React, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, GCP/AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex product roadmaps on time and at scale.
- Commercial and product-minded – able to connect technology decisions with business value.
- Inspirational leadership style with experience in growing teams and fostering an inclusive, innovative culture.
