You will join a global team of expert engineers in the field of ultrasound imaging and AI, focusing on topics such as workflow automation, diagnostic support and automatic measurements.

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Develop new AI algorithms for image analysis (structure detection, segmentation) and workflow automation for medical ultrasound equipment.
  • Design experiments to develop robust and optimal AI algorithms that will meet the clinical performance and device computation needs.
  • Translate user requirements to extendable and maintainable software designs with high quality implementations.
  • Work with data quality assessment, data cleansing and data analytics.
  • Work alongside data engineers and software developers to translate algorithms into commercially viable products and services.
  • Organize and support data annotation activities.
  • Technical documentation.
  • Support regulatory submissions of AI solutions.
  • Generate reports, annotated code, and other projects artifacts to document, archive, and communicate your work and outcomes.
  • Contribute to global development projects within GE Healthcare.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Master’s degree or PhD within computer science / software engineering / medical imaging or other relevant discipline or relevant expirience.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on AI projects.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with pyTorch, Tensorflow, and/or other relevant ML/AI frameworks
  • Test-driven development and Agile methodology
