We are hiring a highly proficient Machine Learning Engineer for a 1-year renewable contract with placement across the GCC.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and deliver ML models and components to tackle real-world business challenges, collaborating closely with Product and Data Science teams.
- Inform ML infrastructure decisions based on a deep understanding of modeling techniques, including data and feature selection, model training, hyperparameter tuning, and validation.
- Address complex problems by coding, testing, and validating ML models, and automating deployment processes.
- Work as part of an Agile team to enhance software supporting advanced big data and ML applications.
- Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in live environments.
- Utilize or construct cloud-based architectures to deploy optimized ML models at scale.
- Build efficient data pipelines to support ML models.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment practices, ensuring successful model and code deployment through automation and monitoring.
- Uphold code quality and governance standards to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to Responsible and Explainable AI principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 4 years' programming experience with Python, Scala, or Java.
- At least 3 years' experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
- Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience with recognized ML frameworks like scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow.
- At least 1 year of experience in productionizing, monitoring, and maintaining models.
