Virtual Assistant (Remote, Part-Time)
Pay: USD $23/hour (AUD $35 equivalent for Australian candidates)
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM AEST (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM EST / 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM PST), 7 days a week (4 hours daily)
Target: Australian and US candidates
About the Role
We're looking for someone sharp, proactive, and curious — someone who can understand problems, not just follow checklists.
You'll work directly with the founder of a fast-growing global SaaS company that helps people make money online.
This is not a traditional VA job. You'll be trusted to think independently, communicate clearly, and take ownership of outcomes across customer success, light sales, and operations. If you enjoy solving ambiguous problems and improving systems rather than waiting for instructions, you'll fit perfectly here.
---
What You'll Be Doing:
- Talking with users via chat, email, and the occasional quick phone call to solve real problems — no scripts, just logic and empathy.
- Writing clear, friendly, technically accurate messages that make sense to non-technical users.
- Spotting trends in customer feedback and proposing fixes or process changes before being told.
- Running small growth and retention experiments — e.g., follow-ups, refund recovery, or onboarding outreach.
- QA-testing new product features, documenting bugs, and working with developers to reproduce and resolve them.
- Creating and improving lightweight documentation, FAQs, and internal SOPs.
- Jumping on a brief user call when text isn't enough — staying calm, listening well, and resolving issues clearly.
---
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent written and spoken English. Neutral accent, confident on unscripted calls.
- Structured thinking. You can explain how you'd approach a vague or complex problem step-by-step.
- Initiative and ownership. You don't wait for perfect instructions; you figure things out.
- Technical literacy. You learn new tools quickly (experience with platforms like Notion, Intercom, Stripe, Airtable, or Zapier is a plus).
- Judgment and empathy. You understand when to escalate, when to improvise, and when to just fix it yourself.
- Reliability. Strong internet connection, quiet work environment, consistent availability during required hours, and follow-through.
- **Must be available 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM AEST (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM EST / 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM PST), 7 days a week**
---
What You'll Get:
- Competitive hourly rate — USD $23/hour (AUD $35 equivalent for Australian candidates) based on capability.
- Direct mentorship from the founder and exposure to every layer of a growing tech company.
- Autonomy, trust, and the chance to shape your own responsibilities as we scale.
- A culture that values intelligence, honesty, and tangible results — not busywork.
- Consistent 28 hours per week (4 hours daily, 7 days)
---
