Your New Role

As an API Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative development team responsible for designing and building microservices using Node.js and Golang. You will play a key role in implementing integration strategies, setting up CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, and deploying containerised applications in AWS using AWS container services.

You will work closely with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs that support core financial services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an API Engineer, ideally within the financial services domain
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Golang for microservices development
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with GitLab
• Experience with Docker and container-based deployment in AWS
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native integration strategies
• Experience working with architects to design integration solutions
• Agile delivery experience, with exposure to Scrum leadership
