About The Role
As a HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT)'s people-focussed objectives through the delivery of professional, contemporary and high-quality HR advice. With support and team collaboration, you will partner with managers and employees to navigate employment-related matters across the entire employment lifecycle, ensuring alignment with industrial instruments, legislation, and QPT policy and procedures.
Reporting to the Principal HR Business Partner, you will work as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll provide practical and solutions-focused guidance on HR matters, contribute to workforce reporting and governance processes and help shape initiatives that enhance our employee experience.

About You
You are a motivated HR professional with experience providing advice across a broad range of human resource and employment matters. You are solutions-oriented and able to balance compliance, business needs, and people outcomes effectively.
To excel in this role, the following attributes will support your success:
- A degree-level qualification in human resources, employment relations, or a related discipline would be highly regarded
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across all levels
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide sound, evidence-based HR advice
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and well-researched correspondence
- A proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture, modelling ethical and professional behaviour
