Software development project manager (m/f/d)
In this full-time (38.5h) position, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning and monitoring of our development process in close collaboration with a team of skilled developers.
What you will do:
- You will be supervising a team of talented developers, coordinating the team and ensuring constructive communication between developers, stakeholders and other departments (e.g. testing)
- You will be responsible for the team’s output in terms of quality, adherence to timelines, and stakeholder requirements. You will partner with the Senior Developers who will take responsibility over the technical direction of the projects
Quality:
- Shape the development process to fit the needs of the team and stakeholders
- Acting as first line of quality assurance for new developments by performing user acceptance tests and providing initial feedback
Timelines:
- You are responsible for managing the incoming workflow for developers, taking incoming requests, managing stakeholder requirements and help developers set priorities for new feature developments
- You have a good overview of the project progress and deadlines. You recognize potential problems quickly, and ensure adherence to the development process
Stakeholder management:
- Based on stakeholder requirements and user stories, you create specifications and UI designs for new developments
- You report progress, and coordinate with the management and other stakeholders
Your profile:
- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar
- 3+ years practical experience in software project management and the creation of specifications
- You are familiar with agile methods and user interface design
- Basic knowledge of C++ is a plus, even though this is not a programming position
- You have experience and enthusiasm for data analytics and a quick understanding of use cases; knowledge of industrial analytics use cases is a plus
- You are working in a structured, reliable, and independent manner
- Your communication in written and spoken English is very good, German is a big plus
- You are a team player and have good social skills
- You are an EU citizen or have a valid work permit in Austria and you are willing to relocate to Vienna

We offer a fixed annual gross salary beginning with 63.000€, higher salary are possible based on your qualification.
