Your role
As a Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications and services that power our SMARTLINK IoT platform. You will work on core backend components, ensuring seamless data flow, high availability, and security across the system.
You will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, DevSecOps engineers, and other development teams to implement backend services and APIs that support our growing platform. Together, you will create scalable, performant, and reliable solutions that connect our products and customers around the world.
Your role also includes integrating cutting-edge technologies, continuously improving architecture, and maintaining compliance with best practices in cloud development. You will contribute to the evolution of our platform by sharing knowledge, identifying opportunities for optimization, and experimenting with new tools and methods.
This is a hands-on, high-impact position where innovation and teamwork go hand in hand. You will have the freedom to explore, take ownership of your work, and help shape the future of connected products within Atlas Copco.

- You hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- You have solid hands-on experience in cloud-native software development, ideally with Microsoft Azure, and are proficient in .NET, API development, and containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
- You are familiar with database technologies such as MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, or messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka. Experience with IIoT systems or cloud security is a strong plus.
- You are a strong communicator and team player who enjoys working in an international, cross-functional environment. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about technology and quality.
- You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn — continuously looking for smarter, more efficient ways to build and deploy scalable cloud solutions.
