Business Analyst – Day Rate Contract | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite, Dublin)
We’re partnering with one of Ireland’s leading software houses to hire an experienced Business Analyst for a day rate contract. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-impact reporting and performance improvement initiative within a regulated environment.
Contract: 6 months initially (strong potential for extension)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Start: ASAP
The Role
You’ll take ownership of requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement to support improvements across reporting and performance frameworks. Working in an Agile delivery environment, you’ll play a key role in translating complex business needs into actionable specifications and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture clear business requirements.
- Map current and target-state processes for reporting and performance management.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements to support reporting enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams within an Agile setup.
- Support delivery of KPI and performance frameworks, including Power BI-based reporting.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business process analysis and documentation.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Background in regulated utilities or similar complex, compliance-driven environments.
- Experience with regulatory reporting and KPI frameworks.
- Proficiency with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Hands-on Agile delivery experience (Scrum ceremonies, backlog management).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to have: Familiarity with CMEX/BRMEX regulatory frameworks and metrics.
