We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer (Java, Spring Boot) who’s excited not only to work on high-performance backend systems but also to grow into a Full Stack Developer over time.

As a Developer at Fleethand, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and improving the digital backbone of our fleet management and security systems.

You’ll work closely with product owners, designers, and engineers to bring new features to life — from telematics integrations to customer-facing dashboards.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs (Java, Spring Boot)
• Implement new features, fix bugs, and continuously optimize application performance
• Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., GPS tracking systems, telematics providers)
• Participate in code reviews, code releases, architectural discussions, and sprint planning sessions
• Contribute to the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based platforms
• Learn and gradually contribute to frontend development (Angular) as part of your growth plan

• 2 - 4 years of professional experience in backend software development
• Solid knowledge of Java (Spring boot)
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and basic query optimization. Experience with jOOQ and Hibernate
• Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka) and search technologies (ElasticSearch) is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Good understanding of clean coding principles, security best practices, and system design
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Curiosity and willingness to learn frontend technologies (Angular)

Salary

Monthly salary for this position is from 3000 EUR gross to 4500 EUR gross.
