What you will be doing as a Social Media Project Manager

  • Develop new and existing social media channels based on the trends in the Baltics.
  • Lead and implement social media strategy, securing business development and objectives.
  • Build an annual activity plan to achieve brand awareness and higher engagement with customers.
  • Monitor results in relationships with content quality and influence. Manage and track budget.
  • Contribute to the overall web and digital development needs to balance business opportunities and risk.
  • Secure good collaborations with agencies, suppliers, partners and stakeholders, both internally and externally, to maximize impact.
  • Develop approach to working with key influencers within the social media environment in partnership with Marketing, PR, Internal Communications, Web and other colleagues.
  • Track the changing users' habits and identify consumer trends to be aligned in social media marketing communication.
  • Continuous analysis of competition and monitoring of IKEA worldwide Social Media communication to improve the tactics in the Baltics.
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all social media channels, following the IKEA Trademarks, Tone of Voice framework and visual identities.
  • Act as a role model leading by example and promoting IKEA Culture & Values.

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant background and experience from web and social media including knowledge and understanding of strategy development, tactics, budgeting, planning, follow up.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with people, teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Passionate about marketing, web, social media and communication.
  • Motivated to work together across Baltic, teams, functions, and organizations, becoming better together. Proven experience in working with social media agencies and influencers.
  • Ability to work in fast moving environment. High energy, proactive, highly responsible, and have a sense of urgency.
  • Possess a creative mindset and driven by a constant urge to improve, develop and challenge and a strong will to influence and make a difference.
  • Possess fluent written and spoken knowledge of English language.
