Job Description & Summary
Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Learning & Development Senior Manager – Business Engagement Lead (m/f/d). What if it was you?
Your mission: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Learning & Development Manager to lead the business learning engagement relationship across our organization. This role will act as the primary L&D partner for one of our key business group while also overseeing strategic alignment with other business units by enabling and guiding embedded learning specialists.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in L&D, project and program management expertise, and a data-driven mindset to deliver impactful learning solutions that drive business performance and capability development through trusted partnership with business leaders.
Be a part of our team where you will:
Act as a Strategic Business Partner
- Serve as the dedicated partner for the Advisory business, while supporting consistency across all lines of service.
- Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, understand their business priorities, and shape solutions that go beyond training to drive impact.
- Act as a trusted advisor - able to challenge, probe, and reframe problems to ensure we’re solving the right issues.
- Take ownership of the L&D portfolio across the organization, ensuring alignment and consistency while tailoring solutions (80/20 balance: 80% standardized, 20% business-specific).
- Oversee and guide learning specialists embedded in other business units, ensuring scalable frameworks, aligned methodologies, and a data-driven approach to impact.
- Connect the dots across teams and initiatives, ensuring synergies and coherence in how we enable the business.
- Act as a portfolio/program manager, leading key initiatives such as technical enablement (e.g., GenAI, digital skills).
- Ensure timely delivery, clear stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes.
- Facilitate or oversee training programs where needed, while focusing on systems that scale.
- Leverage learning analytics and business data to assess impact, identify gaps, and continuously improve learning solutions;
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Manage, coach, and support a team of 3 Learning Specialists.
- Empower them to deliver across lines of service, while you set vision, priorities, and drive execution through the team.
- Leverage learning analytics and business data to evaluate impact and guide decisions.
- Build reporting frameworks that clearly show business leaders the value of learning investments.
- Use insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Introduce and experiment with new L&D practices, frameworks, and tools.
- Drive a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement in how we design and deliver learning.
- Ensure our offerings are forward-looking and enable the business to stay ahead of market trends.
Let’s talk about you. If you …
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, HR, or a related field (Master’s preferred);
- Bring 7+ years of experience in L&D, HR, program/portfolio management, or a related business partner role (professional services experience a plus);
- Have strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team;
- Have proven experience designing scalable systems and frameworks, not just running programs;
- Are data-driven, analytical, and comfortable pushing back when needed to ensure solutions address root problems;
- Excel at stakeholder management - able to balance business demands with HR execution, and manage relationships across both;
- Are collaborative, strategic, and thrive in a matrixed, fast-changing environment.
