THE ROLE

The People Operations Specialist ensures a smooth and compliant employee experience across the full lifecycle — from onboarding to offboarding. You'll own the operational backbone of the People function, maintaining accurate employee data, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and managing HR systems and policies that help our people thrive.

You'll be the guardian of HiBob, the source of truth for all people data — ensuring it's accurate, compliant, and used effectively to support great decisions and experiences.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Employee Lifecycle

  • Lead and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records in HiBob, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Draft, update, and ensure compliance of employment agreements with local labor laws in partnership with our legal team.
  • Stay current with labor legislation and proactively adjust documentation and internal processes as needed in partnership with our legal team..

HR Systems & Data (HiBob Guardian)

  • Serve as the owner and administrator of HiBob, responsible for system setup, data accuracy, and user experience.
  • Ensure consistent and compliant use of HiBob across the organization, supporting managers and employees through ticketing system
  • Generate and analyze HR reports to support people decisions and compliance requirements.

Policies and Procedures

  • Develop, document, and maintain HR policies and procedures, including time-off policies, hybrid/remote work guidelines, and working hours in partnership with people partners.
  • Ensure policies are clearly communicated and consistently applied across the organization.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR operations and improve the employee experience through better tools, automation, and process design.
  • Support HR projects, audits, and reporting as needed.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 6+ years of experience in HR / People Operations, preferably in a fast-paced or international environment.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and employment practices.
  • Hands-on experience managing HRIS systems (preferably HiBob).
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with employees at all levels.
