Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager at ASCALAB located in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

We are looking for an organized and motivated Project Manager to join our team and help manage and coordinate our projects. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between our clients, developers, QA engineers, and other internal stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in agile environment and is passionate about technology, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, initiate, execute, and close projects using agile and hybrid methodologies
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
• Manage daily tasks, project risks, dependencies, schedules, and budgets,
• Ensure effective internal and external communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate cross-functional teams
• Track progress using tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Manage client expectations and foster long-term relationships
• Participate in continuous improvement of project management processes and workflows

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT/software development
• Understanding of software development and QA processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Slovenian (Serbian is a plus)
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
