We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Senior HR Specialist / Generalist to join and support the Global Head of HR in Basel. This role combines local HR operations with strategic global project management, supporting cross-entity initiatives and HR transformation efforts across the Group.
Working closely with the Global Head of HR, you will help shape scalable HR processes, support M&A integrations, and drive global initiatives in key HR areas (but not limited) such as Talent, L&D, Employer Branding, and Policy Harmonisation, as well as other bigger KPI-HR initiatives and transitions. Your Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR partner for employees and managers in Basel HQ and strategic HR partner to the global Group.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle (contracts, onboarding, offboarding, HR admin, payroll coordination). Support internal communication, (global or local) HR initiatives, presentations and documents for staff.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss employment law and company policies and support global alignment and collaborations with local teams.
- Manage and support global HR Athagoras Group projects, focusing on high-priority projects, KPI relevant projects as well as process alignment, policy development, and cross-entity collaboration.
- Contribute to M&A integrations, HR data analysis, and continuous improvement.
Your Profile
- 5+ years’ HR experience in a dynamic, international setup (PE, consulting, or multi-entity group experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Swiss HR processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills (including PowerPoint Presentations).
- Experience in rolling out HIRS globally across multiple companies, ideally Personio.
- Fluent in English (C1) and German (B2); additional languages an advantage.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented mindset with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent organisational talent for off-site and other related teambuilding activities.
