Governance and Strategic Alignment:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive IT governance framework aligned with best practices (e.g. COBIT, ISO27001, TISAX).
- Establish and manage a robust demand governance process to review and approve new IT initiatives and ensure they align with business priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement of governance maturity and promote innovation through benchmarking and adoption of best practices.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards by proactively monitoring regulatory and industry changes, updating policies and frameworks accordingly.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks in collaboration with cybersecurity, legal, and enterprise risk teams.
- Oversee IT audit processes, coordinate audit responses, and manage regulatory inspections and findings.
- Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and board committees on IT governance and compliance matters.
- Produce regular reports and dashboards on IT risk, compliance, governance performance, and improvement initiatives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align IT governance with broader enterprise objectives.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the impact of data analytics and technology initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT governance responsibilities, policies, and compliance standards.
- Lead initiatives to build a culture of accountability, compliance, and risk awareness across IT and the wider organization.
- Support the investigation and response to IT incidents and data breaches, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations.
- Lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes, capture lessons learned, and implement corrective actions.
