As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible to:
- Create, update, and enhance recurring reports related to compliance, banking, and payments to ensure alignment with business and regulatory standards;
- Partner with engineering teams to define and deploy automated reporting solutions based on stakeholder requirements;
- Contribute to the development of standardized report templates and dashboards to facilitate common reporting needs across the organization.;
- Assist in preparing compliance reports by verifying that all data aligns with regulatory requirements and standards;
- Collaborate closely with compliance teams to understand reporting needs for regulatory filings and aid in preparing relevant data and reports;
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to guide decision-making across compliance, banking, and payment functions;
- Generate new reports and adjust existing ones as needed, proactively addressing organizational needs and responding to client requests;
- Document reporting processes, key metrics definitions, and data workflows to support consistency, transparency, and repeatability in reporting;
- Identify and implement improvements in data gathering, reporting accuracy, and automation to streamline workflows and minimize manual tasks;
- Be proactive, and forward-thinking; go beyond problem-finding by having a problem-solving mindset.
- Think about continuous improvement - always find new tools and methods for yourself and your colleagues;
- Be capable of understanding the report requirements, reproducing and explaining them to any stakeholder;
- Find quick workarounds or fixes to any of the problems that might appear;
- Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Looker;
- Keep up with the support, compliance, and product development and be the ‘go-to’ person for reporting knowledge.
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Relevant experience working closely with partners and suppliers;
- Proficient with MSOffice (Excel, Word);
- Basic understanding of XML, MySQL, and PHP would be an asset;
- Capable of synthesizing, aggregating and reporting data according to business-specific needs;
- Detail-oriented, analytical, open-minded, and willing to acquire more technical knowledge;
