Full-timeRemote FriendlyEngineering, Information Technology

At Prolife Health, we're dedicated to advancing heart health through innovative, clinically validated technologies. Founded in 2007 in Switzerland, we blend Swiss precision with AI-driven solutions like AIm Technology and AFIB Smart, earning the 2025 Innovation Award in AI for Cardiovascular Monitoring. Join us to make a real impact in preventive healthcare.

We're seeking a skilled ML/Data Scientist to lead AI development for our next-generation health monitoring solution. This 6-month project (January-July 2026) focuses on fine-tuning ML models for high-accuracy health metrics, integrating multimodal data for robust performance. If you're passionate about AI's role in health and thrive in an innovative environment, apply now.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development & Fine-Tuning: Reproduce and enhance advanced models (e.g., Hybrid CNN-BiLSTM with attention) from recent research, adapting for biomedical signal analysis.

Data Processing & Feature Engineering: Manage time-series data with preprocessing (noise removal, filtering), feature extraction (e.g., intervals, amplitudes), and synchronization for supervised learning.

Optimization for Edge Devices: Implement quantization (int-8 via TensorFlow Lite) for low-latency, low-power deployment on embedded systems.

Validation & Metrics: Train using MSE/MAE loss, evaluate against clinical standards (AAMI/ISO), targeting superior accuracy metrics.

Collaboration & Integration: Partner with engineers for real-time deployment; support validation ensuring ethical data handling (HIPAA/GDPR).

Innovation Contribution: Explore adaptive mechanisms and adjustments based on user data, aligning with our focus on intelligent health solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must-Have:

o Advanced proficiency in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Keras) with experience in CNN, ResNet, BiLSTM, and attention models for time-series data.

o Strong background in biomedical signal processing, feature extraction, and handling medical datasets (e.g., MIMIC/PhysioNet).

o Expertise in model fine-tuning, supervised learning (MSE/MAE loss), and healthcare AI metrics (e.g., AAMI/ISO compliance).

o Experience with quantization and deployment (TensorFlow Lite) for edge devices.

o Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; 3+ years in ML for healthtech.

o Proficiency in English at C1 level or higher.

Nice-to-Have:

o Familiarity with medtech regulations (e.g., FDA/CE).

o Python proficiency with libraries like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas.

o Passion for preventive healthcare and wearable tech.

What We Offer:

Impactful Work: Contribute to AI innovations in cardiovascular health.

Collaborative Culture: Join a purpose-driven team with wellness activities and growth opportunities.

Professional Growth: Engage with cutting-edge tech.

Competitive Package: Attractive rates, mostly remote flexibility, and long-term potential.

Start Date: January 2026
