Job Description

IT Support Engineer EMEA

Normal Duties

  • Remote and in person technical support of PCs, Laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Logging calls, walk-in interactions, and details into our ITSM.
  • Active Directory high level account administration e.g.: Computer account management.
  • Troubleshooting of common IT software and hardware products.
  • Troubleshooting network connection issues.
  • Work with other support teams to resolve issues and ensure the communication is maintained with the end-users until resolution.
  • Train users in the use of our systems.
  • Prioritize the nature of tickets according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Complete all company administration and documentation as required.
  • Participate in the Shift-Left process.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • White Glove treatment for Senior Partners.
  • Animate the New joiner Inductions in the office for London, or remotely for Manchester and Dublin new starters.
  • Travel as necessary to Korn Ferry offices to provide support and facilitate EMEA Office moves.
  • Work in the office at least 3 days a week.
  • Ability to work public holidays.
  • Report issues and escalations to your Line Manager.
  • Support meeting rooms. (VC and AV)
  • Collaborate with other teams in projects, testing, UATs.

Skills And Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. (M365)
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11.
  • Working knowledge of cloud based virtual machines.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Authenticator or MFA/2FA solutions.
  • Experience working with Cisco VPN solutions or similar.
  • An understanding and working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • An understanding and working knowledge of Azure AD.
  • Experience supporting iOS and Android devices.
  • Imaging laptops, desktops and setting up MacBooks.
  • Experience of anti-virus maintenance and support.
  • Knowledge of HP or Lenovo Laptops/Desktops.
  • Experience troubleshooting printing problems.
  • Experience using a Mobile Device Management platform such as Intune.
  • Experience troubleshooting with BitLocker.
  • Familiarity with ITSM software such as ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure.
  • Excellent oral, written and telephone communication skills.
  • Professional and proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Awareness of ITIL process and procedures.
  • Experience working with SLA and KPI measures.
  • Experience working with a multi-cultural and global organization. (Follow the Sun support model)

Certifications

A mix of the following preferred.

  • Microsoft admin certification
  • CompTIA A+
  • University or College Certification
  • ITIL Foundation

Language

Must be fluent in English.

Any other language spoken within the EMEA region is a bonus.
