Project

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a finance project, delivering key solutions for one of the leading financial institutions in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack features using React and Node.js, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and clean architecture. A core part of your responsibilities will include implementing and optimizing Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers to aggregate services and streamline communication between the frontend and backend systems.

We are seeking someone with leadership skills, who can take ownership of a small team, providing guidance, onboarding, and mentoring as needed. You should be comfortable supporting less experienced developers and helping them grow within the project.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Min. 5 years of proven experience with both React and Node.js in production environments (preferred candidates will have prior experience in team leadership and technical mentoring)
• Deep understanding of the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) pattern
• Ability to design scalable and performant APIs tailored to frontend needs
• Experience coordinating authentication flows and session management
• Strong troubleshooting skills across frontend and backend layers
• Familiarity with code quality tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level (spoken and written)
• Leadership skills in guiding integration and architectural choices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
