Engineering Manager

RP International have partnered with a worldwide leading disruptor in the Data space to shortlist for a Engineering Manager. This is a permanent hybrid working role based in London and offers a salary of up to £130k depending on your experience and alignment to the role.

About the role:

We are searching for a self-motivated, solution-oriented and experienced Engineering Manager with focus on Application Development, to play a key part within the Elements team. In this role, you will work with global peers on teams dedicated to areas of the product portfolio, from the product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and back/front-end engineering teams. You will be responsible for leading the continued enhancement and development of consumer-facing applications, where your expert skills in designing, architecting, and building quality systems will intersect with your leadership skills of building high performing team culture and growing your team members.

Experience, skills and professional attributes::

• Have experience with performance and optimization problems (a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent such problems, and a desire to share your knowledge and scale through others).
• Have strong proficiency in Flutter/Dart and a deep understanding of its ecosystem (including state management, widget libraries, and asynchronous programming).
• Have experience in multi-platform production development using Flutter from a single codebase, focusing on web, mobile and desktop applications.
• Have strong experience of building user-friendly, responsive, efficient, and world-class user experience based primarily on the Flutter platform.
• Have strong technical documentation skills, including the C4 Model and Architectural Decision Records.
• Have experience with languages like Javascript, Typescipt, Node.js or React. Other languages (ex. CSharp, C++, GoLang, Rust) are also attractive skills for this role.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience with native mobile development under Android (Kotlin and/or Java) and/or iOS (Swift).
