About the role:

As Planning Systems Owner, you will take group-level ownership of Connect Bus’ planning systems - including HASTUS, IVU, and related integrations - ensuring they effectively support our operational and business goals. You’ll join a growing team of planning specialists led by the Chief Planning Officer, working to standardize processes, enhance system performance, and develop tools that enable smarter, more efficient operations.


This is a hands-on and strategic position that combines system ownership, data management, and process leadership. You’ll collaborate closely with IT, local planning departments, dispatchers, and public transport authorities, while helping shape the future system roadmap for the entire group. The role offers a rare opportunity to join an ambitious, forward-looking transport operator in a phase of growth and modernization - with strong influence and the freedom to build something new from the ground up.


Key responsibilities:

  • Own and develop Connect Bus planning system landscape, including HASTUS, IVU, and related integrations.
  • Lead upgrades, parameter alignment, and new module implementations in collaboration with internal teams and IT.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across planning and operational systems.
  • Develop KPI frameworks and dashboards in Power BI to support business insights and decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, documentation, and training related to planning systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to define and execute the future system roadmap.


We’re looking for someone with:

  • Solid experience with planning systems in public transport (e.g., HASTUS, IVU, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of system integrations between planning, CAD/AVL, HR, payroll, and PTA systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, data visualization, and KPI development.
  • Background in process leadership and standardization work.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish or Norwegian.


Meriting:

  • Relevant higher education within computer science, data analytics, or transport systems.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and data management best practices.
