Senior .Net / C# Software Engineer - Capital Markets

About the Role

As a Senior .Net / C# Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a cross-functional Agile team responsible for delivering critical software for our client's trading operations. You'll contribute to architecture decisions, implement robust solutions, and play a vital role in our transformation toward a modern, cloud-based stack. This role offers end-to-end ownership—from design through to deployment—of real-time, high-volume applications that demand both technical excellence and business understanding.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably in trading or financial systems
• Expert-level C# and .NET Framework/Core development using Visual Studio
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL), including schema design and performance optimization
• Solid experience with WPF for application development
• Proven ability in asynchronous and event-based messaging systems
• Experience with distributed system design and maintenance
• Familiarity with AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms), including deployment and asset management
• Strong grasp of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build/release management (e.g., GitLab/GitHub)
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
• Passion for clean code, great documentation, and automation
• Experience with electronic trading systems, FIX protocol or financial market data is preferred
