We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure for an established financial services organization undergoing a major technology transformation. In this critical role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing cloud environments that support the company's modernization and innovation agenda. You will collaborate closely with architecture, DevOps, and security teams to deliver robust and compliant AWS solutions that power the firm's next-generation platforms.

Responsibilities:
As the Cloud Engineer, your key responsibilities will include designing and managing AWS environments with a strong focus on VPC, EC2, IAM and networking services. You will develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency. You will also support migration from on-premise systems to cloud-native architectures, implement monitoring and cost optimization strategies, and ensure compliance with financial industry security and regulatory standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be central to delivering reliable and high-performing infrastructure solutions.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps, with proven expertise in AWS VPC and EC2 design, implementation, and management. A strong understanding of networking, IAM policies, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail) is essential. Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC automation is required, while exposure to container platforms (ECS, EKS) and CI/CD pipelines will be an advantage. Familiarity with security best practices and regulatory compliance frameworks within financial institutions is preferred. AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect - Associate or SysOps Administrator) will be highly regarded.
