Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and operational excellence of our Digital Operations Centre (DOC). This role combines system administration, cybersecurity operations, and incident response responsibilities to maintain a secure and resilient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

System Monitoring & Reliability

• Proactively monitor and fine-tune system alerts and thresholds to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions for early identification of potential issues.
• Optimize system performance and reliability through preventive maintenance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time system health visibility.

Incident Response & Resolution

• Lead rapid response efforts for security incidents, outages, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Coordinate incident response to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
• Escalate critical issues with clear, timely communication to stakeholders.

Security Operations & Compliance

• Work closely with SOC teams on threat investigations and incident handling.
• Support compliance audits and ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain security controls across infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor security events and assist with threat detection and analysis.

Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Perform root cause analysis of major incidents using performance analytics and forensic techniques.
• Identify systemic issues and implement preventive measures to improve resilience.
• Analyze historical trends to predict potential issues and recommend proactive solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on incident patterns and system metrics.

Configuration & Data Management

• Support implementation and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of configuration items and system documentation.
• Enhance IT service management platforms to improve asset visibility, automate workflows, and strengthen governance.
• Maintain up-to-date asset inventories and configurations.
• Streamline operations through effective configuration management practices.

Knowledge Management & Documentation

• Develop and maintain incident response procedures and technical documentation.
• Create and update knowledge base articles for common issues and resolutions.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and training for team members.
• Establish standardized processes and best practices for incident handling.

Analytics & Reporting

• Build dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
• Produce regular reports on system performance, security metrics, and operational efficiency.
• Identify patterns and trends to enable proactive system management.
• Present insights and recommendations to management and technical stakeholders.
