UX/UI Designer 1

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a UX/UI Designer for a contract position in CA(Remote). The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Design and create high-quality visual assets for all brand needs: social media, video reels, digital banners, brochures, emails, customer communications, style guides, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with brand strategists to produce engaging and visually appealing videos, from concept development to final editing.
  • Support the brand strategy team in strategy development by translating strategic insights into compelling visual narratives and creative executions.
  • Engage in line of business discussions and proactively contribute ideas and suggestions to support growth initiatives across business units.
  • Partner with marketing and business leads to interpret strategic briefs and translate them into design solutions that drive measurable impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, sales, and customer experience—to ensure design solutions are aligned with broader organizational goals.
  • Leverage performance data and audience insights to refine design approaches and improve engagement across channels.
  • Work closely with brand strategists to plan and create differentiating and compelling communications.
  • Explore emerging design tools and techniques to push creative boundaries and elevate brand storytelling.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Approach the design process without ego.
  • Have a critical eye for photography with a strong ability to edit and retouch in Photoshop.
  • Be organised and understand the importance of managing your files through an established naming and folder archive system.
  • Support the creation and delivery of brand assets to meet the demands of multiple lines of business.
  • Self-motivated and manage daily tasks to ensure assets are delivered on time and to the agreed standards.
  • Give and receive feedback to peers through design critique.
  • Experienced working with and evolving brand guidelines and systems across mediums (digital, video, photography, and print).

Qualifications:

  • Adobe CC + Figma for omni-channel campaigns 4-5 years min
  • Video editing and motion graphics (Premiere and After Effects) 1-2 years min
  • Microsoft PPT, word and excel - 1-2 years min

Preferred:

  • Brand Guidelines - Building and administration
  • Brand evolution
  • UX/UI understanding
