We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in switching, routing, with an interest in AI/ML and cloud networking technologies. The role involves hands-on exposure to modern network operations, network virtualization, and VNF deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of network devices, switches, and routers.
  • Support switching, routing, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and VPN (IPSec, GRE, SSL) configurations.
  • Participate in network security management including ACLs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and QoS policies.
  • Assist with MPLS Core, L2/L3 VPN, PE-CE routing, and traffic engineering tasks.
  • Work on network monitoring, performance optimization, and documentation of network topologies.
  • Support automation and scripting initiatives using Python.
  • Gain exposure to AI/ML, LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, LangChain), network analytics, and AI-enabled network operations.
  • Participate in VNF deployment, NFV lifecycle, network virtualization, and basic cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on SD-WAN, network orchestration, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

  • Fundamental knowledge of switching and routing concepts.
  • Basic understanding of MPLS, VPNs, L2/L3 VPNs, and PE-CE routing.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and monitoring tools (Wireshark, SNMP, NetFlow).
  • Exposure to Python scripting, automation, and network documentation.
  • Awareness of AI/ML, LLMs, and AI-driven network analytics concepts.
  • Understanding of network virtualization, VNF deployment, and cloud networking fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and learning mindset.
