The opportunity:

Deliver on AIA’s purpose, vision and strategy by leading the development and execution of our Enterprise Digital Strategy and Operating Model. As Head of Digital, you will partner closely with the GM Marketing, Customer and Digital and key business stakeholders to embed digital governance, drive innovation and deliver market-leading customer and partner experiences aligned to our Future Fit and Advance the Core strategies.

This is a pivotal leadership role with a dual focus:

  • Strategic Leadership of AIA’s digital transformation across Group and Retail Insurance, ensuring competitive advantage through seamless digital experiences.
  • Team Leadership of a high-performing Digital Team, fostering innovation, engagement, and excellence in delivery.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Co-develop and embed AIA’s Enterprise Digital Strategy and Operating Model
  • Lead digital participation in strategic investment projects and PMO frameworks
  • Drive digital product ownership, UX/UI excellence, and website optimisation
  • Influence and align with key BU and Technology stakeholders to deliver digital outcomes
  • Champion customer-centric design with the CX/DX teams
  • Partner with Group Office to scale digital design principles and experiences
  • Inspire and develop a market-leading Digital Team across product, UX, and optimisation
  • Foster a culture of high performance, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate as a senior leader within the Marketing, Customer and Digital Leadership Team
  • Deliver on enterprise financial targets (VONB, ANP, EV, OPAT).
  • Manage digital channel metrics (acquisition, retention, engagement, NPS)
  • Oversee functional BAU and integration budgets, including SIC programs

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline and MBA or postgraduate qualification desirable
  • Previous experience in senior digital leadership roles, ideally within financial services or insurance
  • Proven success in leading complex digital projects and multi-layered teams
  • A deep expertise in UX/UI strategy and digital product management
  • Experience in influencing in matrixed organisations and driving enterprise-wide change.
