A leading telecom company is seeking a highly skilled Network Development Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This company is renowned for its innovative solutions and commitment to maintaining robust network security.
Your new role
As a Network Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building secure APIs, developing and maintaining automation scripts, and implementing and managing TACACS, SNMP, KAFKA, and RabbitMQ. You will also set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, utilise Ansible for configuration management and automation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security best practices are followed. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve network security issues promptly.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Network Development Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
- Proficiency in automation scripting and tools such as Ansible.
- Experience with TACACS, SNMP, KAFKA, RabbitMQ, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience in the telecom industry and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security).
