DevOps Coach
Location: Brussels, Belgium

Key Responsibilities
- Coach squads on DevOps principles, capabilities, and best practices.
- Support teams in developing, testing (automated), deploying, and releasing applications.
- Collaborate with other DevOps coaches and Chapter Leads to align and standardize practices across squads.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery pipelines and team performance.
- Introduce and embed DevOps capabilities such as:
- Software craftsmanship
- Trunk-based development
- BDD/TDD
- Test automation
- CI/CD
- Value Stream Mapping
- Cloud, Kubernetes, and containerization
- Code maintainability & technical excellence
- Stay up-to-date with DevOps trends and use this knowledge to propose evolutions and improvements.
Profile & Requirements
Technical Expertise
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in DevOps or software engineering coaching.
- Proven hands-on experience with continuous build, integration, and deployment systems.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile development models.
- Experience with:
- Source code management (GitLab)
- Artifact repositories (Nexus)
- Code scanning tools (Sonar, Fortify, etc.)
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Java-based environments

- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Proactive, autonomous, and collaborative attitude.
- Analytical thinker with attention to detail and process improvement.
- Able to build trust, network across teams, and create alignment.
