What will you be doing in this role?

• Install, configure, and secure Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service environments.
• Plan and document installation, configuration, authentication, and security procedures.
• Implement platform hardening measures and support system accreditation activities.
• Administer and monitor the Power BI platform, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes in line with SLA and ITIL standards.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and database teams to resolve cross-service issues.
• Design and develop ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
• Create and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Contribute to BI architecture documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Deliver knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring for end users and support staff.
• Prepare complete documentation and ensure successful operational handover.
  
  

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor degree in IT with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of proven, recent, and relevant experience as a consultant in large-scale business application implementation projects, with a strong understanding of Power BI and data warehouse (DWH) architecture, components, and functionalities, as well as Oracle and Microsoft databases.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in installing, configuring, administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining Power BI Report Server.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with MS SQL Server (2014 or higher) and/or Oracle databases.
• Prior experience working within Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in developing complex SQL queries and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in data modeling and design, including normalized and denormalized models, as well as star and snowflake schemas.
• In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design.
• Proven experience providing Level 2 and Level 3 support—including incident, problem, change, and service request management—following ITIL processes and using service management tools.
• Experience configuring Power BI Server with claims-based ADFS authentication, familiarity with KNIME Analytics Platform, Java development skills will be considered an asset.
• An active security clearance at NATO Secret level is mandatory at the time of application.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is required (C1 level).
