The core focus of this role is to manage our cloud-based IT infrastructure, ensuring our systems operate both efficiently and securely. You get to work closely with our experienced team, as well as cross-functional teams, to ensure the seamless integration and effectiveness of our cloud solutions.
Our customer base and project scope are wide, ranging from small start-ups to global enterprises. Thanks to this variety and our constantly evolving environment, you donโt need to worry about getting stuck or bored. Take a peek at our Customers to see what weโre talking about. We are also always working on dozens of hush hush projects.
Hereโs a more detailed snapshot of your key responsibilities:
โ Platform Management: Take ownership of our Gitlab & AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
โ System Maintenance: Handle tasks such as configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to keep our cloud platforms operating at peak efficiency.
โ Upgrades and Migrations: Lead the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and migrations to keep our platforms up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
โ Security Measures: Implement security measures and access controls to protect our systems from threats.
What are we looking for?
๐ฏ AWS expertise: Proven experience in AWS cloud infrastructure management and monitoring solutions, preferably with certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer โ Professional or AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, as well as experience from the AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program.
๐ฏ Automation and DevOps: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
๐ฏ Security and access control: Strong understanding of cloud security (KMS, WAF/Shield) and cloud network security (Security Groups, NACLs, VPC Peering, Transit Gateway). Confidence in managing AWS access control (IAM, AWS Identity Center) and experience with AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs).
๐ฏ Multi-account environments: Proven experience with AWS multi-account tools and solutions such as AWS RAM, AWS Config, and CloudTrail aggregators.
๐ฏ Automation scripting: Basic skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
๐ฏ Proposal work: Experience participating in proposal processes - contributing to technical solution design, documentation, and cost estimation.
๐ฏ Collaboration and communication: Ability to navigate and bring clarity to large and complex environments. Great interpersonal skills and proficiency in both Finnish and English, as many of our projects involve Finnish-speaking customers.
