We are looking for a Risk Management Trainee to join our team and contribute to our ongoing efforts to enhance and develop the risk management practices within our organization. In this new role, you will play a crucial part in driving the development of our company. You will report to the Risk Management Team of the Amer Sports Group and work in Helsinki, Finland.
What You Will Be Doing
You will support the enterprise risk management process activities as well as the global insurance program facilitation. As a Risk Management Trainee, you will also serve as one of the key users for the GRC platform in the risk domain and other tools. Additionally, you will help with developing and training our AI model.
- ERM & Business Continuity Planning: Assist in the coordination of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and business continuity planning processes.
- Global Insurance Program: Support in day-to-day global insurance topics.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to company, industry, and market-specific risk trends.
- Support Risk Management Awareness: Assist in promoting risk awareness within Amer Sports Group by helping to prepare training materials, e-learning modules, and communication content.
- Risk Management Analytics: Support the development and analysis of risk management-related data and gain exposure to advanced tools, including AI-based solutions.
- Near graduating or a recent master's degree in a relevant area, such as Engineering, Business, or Economics.
- Experience in risk management, business continuity, crisis management, compliance, quality, strategy, or operations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g. German, French, Mandarin) is a plus.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management, business continuity, insurances, and AI tools
- Experience in Risk Management Frameworks (e.g., COSO) and GRC Tools (e.g., AuditBoard) are seen as advantage.
- Global mindset with prior experience in a multinational work environment is a strong plus.
- Advanced digital skills, including Microsoft Office and Copilot, experience in Risk Management tools is plus.
- Eagerness to take ownership of complex projects and responsibilities, driving personal and professional growth.
- Excellent communication skills for clearly conveying ideas and collaborating with various stakeholders and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges with a critical and innovative mindset.
