Flat, created by Tutteo Ltd., is an online music notation technology that empowers music enthusiasts to create, learn, and share music scores, tabs, and lead sheets.
We believe the sheet music industry is ready for reinvention. Through Flat and Flat for Education, we’re building a new way to write, teach, and consume music.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of Flat for Education, our music teaching platform used by thousands of schools and millions of students worldwide.
This is a 6-month position to cover a temporary leave.
You will join a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and data experts to drive the Flat for Education product forward. The roadmap for the upcoming months already exists — your role will be to refine, execute, and enhance it, ensuring impactful delivery and continued alignment with user and business needs.
Vision and Roadmap
You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the current 6-month product roadmap.
Your mission is to analyze ongoing initiatives, refine priorities, and drive discovery and delivery to ensure we meet our key goals for teachers and students.
Strategic Planning
You will take ownership of the existing roadmap, ensuring it remains aligned with the company’s vision and objectives. Your mission will be to refine and evolve the strategy as needed — identifying priorities, managing trade-offs, and maintaining a clear direction and delivery rhythm for the tech team.
Discovery & Data
You will rely on quantitative data (usage metrics, adoption) and qualitative insights (teacher & student feedback) to inform decisions and guide iterations. You’ll validate assumptions and identify opportunities to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
Collaboration & Delivery
You’ll work closely with the Tech, Design, and Engagement teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery. You’ll support discovery and ensure specs are clear, aligned, and user-driven.
You’ll also foster strong collaboration and visibility through rituals (sprint plannings, retrospectives, demos).
Leadership & Mindset
You’ll be the advocate for a “teacher and student first” approach — empathetic, structured, and user-obsessed. You’ll bring clarity, focus, and energy to the team while contributing to Flat’s vision of making music education engaging, accessible, and modern.
We’re looking for someone who is curious, structured, and relentlessly focused on user value. You combine analytical thinking with empathy for teachers and students. You are humble, collaborative, and you thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
We don’t need rock stars — we already make music 🙂
We want kind, thoughtful people who take ownership and find joy in solving real user problems.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in SaaS, EdTech, or creative tools
- Strong discovery and delivery skills — you’re equally comfortable analyzing data and leading execution
- You’re strategic but hands-on, able to move fast in an evolving environment
- You’re structured, organized, and efficient with your time
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
- You speak and write fluent English
- You’re curious about music, and you believe in the power of creativity and education
- You share our values: simplicity, empathy, ownership, and continuous learning
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in music education, pedagogy, or creative learning products
- Familiarity with music notation tools
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams
- 6-month contract
- Competitive compensation
- 2.08 vacation days per month + local public holidays
- Paid sick leave
- 100% remote position
- Perks for wellness and professional growth
- We are a fully distributed team. You can work from anywhere, as long as you have a stable internet connection for video calls.
