Automation Project Manager – Dublin – Long-term Contract – Pharmaceutical

Our client operates a state-of-the-art aseptic drug product facility in Dun Laoghaire, specialising in Formulation, Vial/Syringe Filling, Lyophilisation, and Packaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide automation project leadership, setting priorities, managing risks, and delivering regular project status updates.
• Take overall responsibility for Safety, Cost, Schedule, and Quality across all project phases.
• Develop, manage, and report on project budgets and timelines.
• Manage and execute all project activities, including prioritisation, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure optimal technical and business outcomes.
• Identify and resolve project issues promptly, leveraging available resources effectively.
• Manage third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure cost control and quality standards are met.
• Oversee the development and management of change controls in a regulated environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 8+ years’ engineering experience within the Pharma or Life Sciences industry.
• Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record leading large-scale automation projects in regulated environments.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation abilities.
