Background and Context
Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) is focused on raising funds to fulfil our mission of providing world class medical facilities, research and compassionate loving care for every sick child in Ireland cared for in Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres. The Foundation supports Crumlin and Temple Street Children’s Hospitals, National Children’s Hospital Tallaght and Connolly Urgent Care Centre.
The creation of Children’s Health Foundation in 2019 brought together the existing Temple Street Foundation and The Children’s Medical and Research Foundation Crumlin to continue to support Ireland’s sickest children in their treatment journey today, tomorrow and into the future. Role Purpose/ Summary
Purpose of the Role The Project Manager will play a key role in strengthening organisational systems and processes. This includes mapping and standardising workflows, coordinating the implementation of recommendations from recent external reviews, and managing specific improvement projects in finance, data, and IT. The role will ensure that changes are embedded effectively across teams and that new ways of working are clear, consistent, and sustainable.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Map and document organisational processes across departments to identify gaps, overlaps, and inefficiencies
- Lead the implementation of agreed recommendations from external reviews, ensuring actions are completed and progress is tracked
- Lead a review of all physical cash collection processes, working with Finance and Fundraising teams to document current practices, identify risks and inefficiencies, and implement streamlined compliant procedures
- Standardise key policies and processes to support clear accountability and alignment across the organisation
- Project manage the integration of new finance software
- Oversee the outsourcing of IT support, including procurement and transition
- Review how data is managed and develop a coordinated, efficient approach
- Drive change and ensure new processes are adopted effectively by teams
- Plan work in clear manageable steps to keep projects moving
- Share updates regularly and work with others to keep projects on track Qualifications and Experience
