We are seeking a skilled Juniper Systems Engineer to support the integration and deployment of network monitoring and management solutions, with a focus on Juniper technologies, including Paragon. The role will also involve implementing open-source observability tools and integrating a MAC Address Registration Portal to enhance network visibility and user onboarding.

Title: Juniper Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Juniper Paragon Integration:
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of Juniper Paragon for network monitoring, telemetry, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with network architects and operations teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Open-Source Observability Tools:
• Evaluate, deploy, and maintain open-source tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) for real-time network observability.
• Develop dashboards and alerting mechanisms to support proactive network operations.
• MAC Address Registration Portal Support:
• Integrate and support a MAC Address Registration Portal to streamline device onboarding and access control.
• Work with development and security teams to ensure compliance with data protection and access policies.
• Automation & Scripting:
• Develop scripts and automation workflows to support monitoring, reporting, and integration tasks.
• Maintain documentation and version control for all automation assets.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Provide technical support to internal teams during deployment and troubleshooting phases.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on project goals and timelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Juniper networking products, especially Paragon.
• Familiarity with open-source observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Experience with network access control and MAC address registration workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Understanding of network protocols, telemetry, and SNMP.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS).
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration techniques.
• Exposure to enterprise network environments in hospitality or retail sectors.
