Our client, a well-established data and analytics company based in Lithuania, with over two decades of experience supporting financial and business decision-making, is looking for IT Business Analyst. As part of a larger international group with operations across multiple continents, they provide services not only in the Baltic region but also globally.

What You’ll Do

As a IT Business Analyst, you will be at the heart of how we understand business customer needs, interpret product usage, gather data driven insights from regulations. Your work will shape both product decisions and daily user experience across our core data services.

• Analyze business requirements, customer data, registries and open-source data to identify insights and shape solutions
• Gather, process, and visualize large datasets to support internal decisions and customer solutions
• Gather technical requirements, systems specifications and integration needs
• Work with stakeholders to define KPIs, track performance, and develop reporting dashboards
• Write clear, technically precise documentation (specs, workflows, data definitions)
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers
• Maintain analytical models to support customers risk assessment solutions
• Extract, transform, and interpret data from various internal and external sources
• Support implementation of machine learning or scoring models with clean, structured data
• Perform impact and root-cause analysis for feature launches or customer-reported issues
• Contribute to a data-first culture by evangelizing measurable outcomes and insight-driven planning

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience as a data analyst or IT/business analyst
• Solid SQL skills and experience querying relational databases
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar
• Experienced working with APIs, structured data formats (e.g. JSON, XML), and versioned datasets
• Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline basics (e.g. Airflow, dbt, or similar is a plus)
• Ability to translate technical analysis into simple, actionable business recommendations
• Strong data modeling, statistical analysis, and Excel skills
• Experience working on data-centric B2B or fintech platforms is an advantage
• Familiarity with agile product development and cross-functional collaboration
• Proactive, curious mindset with excellent communication skills in English. Lithuanian language would be considered as an advantage.
