We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team supporting multiple security initiatives across critical systems.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week onsite during the first 6 months, and then 2 days per week.
Work location can be Lisbon, Porto, or Coimbra, and candidates must be based in Portugal.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and design secure architectures for critical business and safety systems
- Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses based on frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and ISO/IEC 27000
- Prepare technical reports and executive-level documentation in English
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to ensure effective security implementation
🛠 Profile and Skills
- Proven experience in cybersecurity or security of critical systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or similar standards
- Knowledge of control and automation systems (SCADA, DCS, BAS, Smart Grid)
- Experience with business- and safety-critical software systems and their lifecycle requirements
