YOUR IMPACT
As an IT Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company's IT systems and processes adhere to industry standards, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain effective IT compliance programs, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and risk management, to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT security principles, compliance frameworks, and auditing methodologies.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
· Develop and implement IT compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT and risk management, to ensure alignment between compliance initiatives and business objectives.
· Provide guidance and recommendations on best practices for IT compliance, including data protection, privacy, security, and disaster recovery.
· Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT compliance and proactively update policies and procedures accordingly.
· Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Respond to internal and external compliance inquiries and audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of required documentation and information.
· Participate in incident response and investigations related to IT compliance breaches or violations.
· Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance audits and assessments.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, reports, and remediation plans.
YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) is highly desirable.
· Proven experience working as an IT Compliance Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in a regulated industry such as finance, healthcare, or technology.
· Strong knowledge of IT compliance frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
· Familiarity with auditing methodologies and practices.
· Excellent understanding of IT security principles, including network security, access controls, vulnerability management, and incident response.
· Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to IT systems and processes.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify compliance risks and recommend effective solutions.
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex compliance concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday: 10:00 – 19:00/12:00 – 21:00 (1 hour lunch break)
Hybrid Schedule: 4 days work from office, 1 day work from home
