Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closing of the projects, under the conditions of quality, costs and deadlines established.
• He/She is the bridge between the Client, the Internal Project Team, and the Senior Management
• Accountable for the implementation of security checks and reviews, in accordance with the OHSE guidelines, laws and regulations, and specific customer requirements
• Track project progress and report on key performance indicators.
• Identify and analyze deviations (scope changes) in accordance with the Project plan
• Preparing and Implementation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) including planning, budget, QOHSE, identification of stakeholders, communication, risks, procurement, in consultation with the project sponsor and in accordance with the Contract
• Risks management
• Lead and motivate the project team Provide clear direction to teams, ensuring understanding of scope, standards, and expectations. Delegate tasks fairly and monitor performance, providing coaching and feedback where needed
• Be present in the field when necessary for the project (KOM visits, data collection, clarifications with the client, etc.)
• Take ownership of scopes, driving progress and resolving issues proactively. Make informed decisions on resource allocation, sequencing, and technical queries
• Contributing to liaising with existing customers; participate in proposal preparation as Tender Manager (understand the scope, prepare/coordinate the proposal preparation and be in contact with the Client)
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors involved in projects

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager (preferred industrial projects)
• Bachelor’s degree in construction or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project
• Knowledge and experience in BIM project implementation and familiarity with Common Data Environment will be an asset
• Fluent English
• Planning skills (scheduling, budgeting)
• Very good knowledge of the investment process
• PMP or similar certificate represents a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational follow-up skills
• Team player
