Senior Manager AI & Data

Context

Within the Technology Consulting service line, our AI and Data team supports our clients to manage engagements and lead teams of AI, data and engineering resources in all aspects of design and delivery of information and data sciences solutions. The needs of our clients are driven by global trends of data engineering, data transformation and AI.

To strengthen our team, we are seeking a Senior Manager to collaborate with client engagement teams and work closely with diverse clients, delivering exceptional professional services.

Role and responsibilities

In this role, you’ll tackle a variety of unique projects, each requiring innovative thinking and tailored solutions. Working closely with colleagues across different disciplines, you’ll collaborate to deliver impactful results and identify opportunities to further support our clients. Meeting key clients—leaders in their respective fields—may occasionally involve travel.

Concrete, you will:

• Lead and manage teams specializing in AI & Data, aligning your leadership style with team dynamics and client needs.
• Develop and implement end-to-end data strategies, including collection, integration, transformation, and AI industrialization.
• Assess and improve existing data and AI processes, recommending practical enhancements to optimize systems and workflows.
• Support the professional growth of junior team members by sharing expertise, industry trends, and best practices.
• Clearly present technical solutions to non-technical audiences, including senior executives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Your background

• Strong academic record including a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field;
• You have full working proficiency in French or Dutch (NL) and English;
• Proven experience in a similar consulting environment with 7+ years as a AI / Data expert;
• Proven commercial experience
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies;
• Knowledge of data integration, governance, strategy and engineering;
• Hands-on experience in AI and data in complex and fast changing environments;
• Strong understanding of existing generative AI services e.g. Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Llama, …
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles;
• Familiarity with machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and manage relationships with clients at various levels of the organization;
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and mentor a team of consultants and drive successful project outcomes;
• Relevant technology and project/ programm management qualification are an additional bonus, e.g. Agile, Prince2, PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, SAFe.
